Derivatives Exchange

Derivatives ExchangeWhat is the difference between the OTC (over-the-counter) derivatives and currency derivatives.?

I try to understand all the implications of derivatives traded on these two different areas. Want to really know what the differences are and impliations.

In other words, the derivatives exchange have more stringent requirements and are carefully regulated by the SEC and the respective exchange for which it is registered. OTC is a company that does not need to meet these requirements said to be available for purchase by the public, as they know that most prescription drugs that you leave the house of pain due to the nature of the fact that most of the "success" over the counter are just pump and dump or Ponzi schemes.
