Donna Karan is a well known fashion designer and creator and owner of DKNY (Donna Karan New York) fashion brand and the DKNY fragrance line. His birthplace is from Forest Hills in New York, USA and was born on October 2nd, 1948. She began her distinguished career working for Anne Klein and eventually led the design team Anne Klein until 1989. She created the famous "Seven Easy Pieces" Essentials line for women. Today's Essentials line includes over 200 pieces.

The first DKNY perfume for women was launched in 1992 by Donna Karan. The limited edition Eau de Parfum Donna Karan has been very well accepted by the public and became an instant success and one of the best selling perfumes of this year. It has a sexy scent that includes notes of strong peach, pineapple, neroli, green notes, bergamot, and apricot with hints of floral case, jasmine, orchid, carnations, lilies and roses, ylang-ylang? the fragrant flower of a tropical tree with notes of amber, cedar, tonka bean, musk, vanilla, sandalwood, benzoic, lemon, patchouli, suede and incense.

The first men's fragrance called DKNY DKNY Men was launched in 1994 with a new fragrance for women called Donna Karan Cashmere.

An exotic and unusual scent named DKNY Chaos was launched in 1996. It is now revived by Bergdorf Goodman. Chaos has an oriental fragrance that has notes mixture of cinnamon, coriander, carnation, chamomile, musk, saffron and sandalwood. This DKNY perfume is very strong with a unique fragrance of precious woods, spices and rare herbs. Although it is quite expensive, but it is a pleasure to own.

Another classic perfume DKNY Donna Karan's black cashmere. It has a distinct smell of smoke and certainly is unique. The fragrance is a blend of spicy carnation, saffron, white pepper and red with notes of various trees of Africa and patchouli.

A new version of DKNY MEN DKNY famous perfume for men was launched in 2000. Its fragrance contains top notes of mandarin and ginger, among the floral notes of juniper and ivy and base notes of precious woods such as maple and sandalwood. The scent is masculine, but it is still soft. A limited edition DKNY Red Delicious cologne for men was launched in the year 2006. It has a woody scent.

Another perfume for women called DKNY Donna Karan Gold was released in 2006. He bottle of white and gold, which is pretty impressive. The fragrance has notes of Casablanca lilies and graceful, and smells luxurious. It is just the thing to wear on special events.

New fragrances launched in 2009 DKNY Be Delicious is Blossom, DKNY DKNY Men Summer 2009 women. Be Delicious Fresh Blossom, the last of the lot is a scent that is perfect for spring. This fragrance contains notes of jasmine, rose and grapefruit.
