Hedge Fund Advisor

Hedge Fund AdvisorI want to be a counselor or weeks of work at a hedge fund that should I prepare?

I am a sophomore in high school what classes are a neccesity, and what classes I might want to start looking for additional help. what other things I can do to boost my future career. Thank you

In high school focusing on math and accounting. And if you want to be a manager of hedge funds, college major in finance, with emphasis in financial accounting, or accounting, and again in mathematics and statistics. And to get an MBA.

I second what Jeff said. I would just add that instead of getting an MBA, you might get an accounting (such as CFA or CA (Canada)), which is what I do. From what many people in the industry tell me, a professional accountant is just as good if not better, than many MBAs, according to the school.

But before you throw away, you should see if you have a gift for finance after taking a bit of university finance and accounting courses.
