Everyone says the hedge funds were selling and to lower the price of Morgan Stanley and Goldman shares. Why this short sale that will affect? Is it simply because when there is a mass sell a particular stock, it makes everyone nervous if nobody wants to buy, forcing prices down? Have the regulators stepped in and banned the short selling?
