Ira Cd Rates

Ira Cd RatesIs a bank CD IRA retirement account right? Do you know that banks offer the best rate for the Bank IRA?

I'm looking to invest in a second IRA, a CD of the Bank of the IRA, my question is a good investment, I will make good returns from that, I do not think rates are good for the Bank IRA, but I can be sure I wont lose any money.
Note: I already have a retirement account through my employer.

CDs are one of the worst places to invest retirement. You lose the purchasing power of each dollar over time, due to inflation and taxes you pay when you leave the money (over manager 59.5).

Stay away from banks and insurance companies for pension products. Here are some good mutual fund families that may be useful;
T. Rowe Price
Dodge & Cox
Vanguard

Good luck!

Check around the bank rates change weekly or daily. CD gives the guaranteed rate of return, although the rather low. But with the stock market in the doldrums, not so bad. Sometimes banks offer teaser rates to bring you to them. Check the logs.

CDs are safe, but a very low investment returns.
