How to safeguard the rights of prisoners of war of the Iraq war and detainees from Guantanamo who affect the world? Their own country does not want back, and the United States does not support them, it is left at the end of U.S. allies kiss once more to take the shite you do not, then we will hold the banners of welcome to London, Canberra and Wellington to take the terrorists who will organize 12 months of devastating strikes against the people by giving them refuge.
Well, I reject the premise that the war criminals held at Guantanamo are prisoners of war taken. Prisoners of war are captured combatants in uniform in wartime.
The detainees are in fact war criminals called unlawful combatants and should be executed. They were captured in battle, dressed in civilian clothes, who is a war crime because it puts non-combatants at risk. The Geneva Conventions they were supposed to be executed, which would have been the best thing to do.
I agree we should not keep them.
Uh, to date we have not done a very good job of safeguarding these rights, then it is a very difficult question to answer.
Our inability to protect their rights we have lost the respect of other nations, as well as moral discredit our position when we criticize other nations for violation of civil rights. It also provided a wealth of public relations opportunities for terrorist groups to recruit additional members to fight us in Iraq and elsewhere.
I think they should "accidentally" bomb their own prison and get rid of this scum ............ the easiest option.
