Question of hedge funds? In the U.S., I read on the website of the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) that hedge funds do not register with the SEC.
Are there any companies that offer a list of hedge funds charge? The reason I ask is that I Loans to brokers trade. Usually when I approach a hedge fund to finance the financing of commercial real estate, I wound up having to call other loan brokers to obtain the names of the hedge funds they are gone, and of course, I wound up having to pay brokers and sign non-disclosure just to get the name of the hedge funds they used. I am sick of dealing with other loan brokers, how do I get a list of hedge funds that I can apply to without having to go through other loan brokers?
SEC doesn't manage hedge funds or their employees. You are looking for the NFA. They must be allowed through them. You're looking up the wrong license. It's a 3 not a 6 or 7. Thats where hedge funds normally trade. You can see them here.
