Employment situation:
U.S. March non-farm earnings fell by 663K compared to consensus of a drop by 673K; U.S. March unemployment rate of 8.5% compared to consensus of 8.5%, U.S. average hourly earnings in March rose $ 0.03 to $ 18.50; USA March Manufacturing earnings dropped 161K; U.S. Service-March production decreased earnings 358K; U.S. in March has overall workweek decreased by 0.1 hours to 33.2 hours in February U.S. left unrevised earnings down by 651k; U.S. unemployment in February left unrevised at 8.1% of the U.S. has lost 5.1 million jobs since the start of the recession the U.S. in January revised earnings downward by 741K which is the largest decline since 1949, the highest U.S. unemployment rate in March since November 1983.
ISM (Institute for Supply Management) manufacturing index not:
