Stock Option Trading Education

Stock Option Trading EducationOption trading is worth the time and education?

There are too many details online options trading, place calls and puts. I understand, is like a contract and I have an online brokerage account to trade options, but I would not begin until you have a good understanding of concepts.

Is it similar to stock options now? I have stock options with my employer and I understand where they come with the strike "price and to apply my money to him at the end of the year. It's just trying to read Online options trading is too complicated and I do not know where to start. I have a few companies in mind and already own shares in others.

I have accounts at ING and TD Ameritrade, but did not sign to trade options yet.

So my main question is: Should I pursue trade options or simply stick to buy shares (most of which are doing well by the way)?

First, the options with your employer are not the same as stock options, you can buy on the open market.

Second, you should really enter the game options, especially if you already own stocks. You can use a strategy called covered calls on your current stock and use a buy-write strategy for the creation of new posts. Visit my blog at http://buywrite.wordpress.com. There are links to other blogs similar to a Yahoo group for covered call options.

Stay focused on only 1 strategy to start. Learn everything you on this one strategy. Good Luck.
