Vqnpx VQNPX a good long-term Vanguard mutual funds? I tried initially to invest $ 3,000 in a Roth IRA. I am a novice investor 27 years old. This specific fund has not been a real great artist over the years. Annualized return is 10 years - 2.6%. Does that sound to you like a good investment long term? Of course, putting it into context, the last 10 years have not been all that great for most mutual funds. But if you look at the portfolio that you see a real couple of duds in the top 10 holdings GE and BAC. Not all Vanguard funds are of this nature. One that has a better record and is highly regarded Wellington Fund. It is a balanced fund - which it holds shares and bonds. His 10 years has returned 3.9%. Vanguard is a good Conservative Mutual Fund Company. They just recently changed the management company that operates the fund (VQNPX). If you are serious to invest and you are over 18, you can Google for HSFX Asset Management and start making consistent returns! Posted on January 22, 2010.
