Washington Dc Investment Property

A Real State Agent gave me a bad advisor when I decided to buy an investment property. And because of that, I lost over one hundred thousand dolars.
Is it possible to bring an action of this agent for advice bad?
If it is possible you know a lawyer who works with this type of problem in Northern Virginia or Washington, DC?
